Beeswax products
Wax is made in the beehive by the young worker bees. It is used to make the cells that hold the honey (honey comb) and also to seal these cells once the honey is ripe.
When the honey is harvested the tops of the cells are cut off to expose the golden liquid within. The wax that is taken off is then melted down put into moulds and stored for use at a later date.

Wax has many uses it can be used in the production of candles either on its own or mixed with other kinds of wax. Other uses are furniture polish, cosmetics, woodworking, scuba diving zip lubricant, soap, leather work, conditioning thread for sewing, bow string conditioning and many more.
All of our wax blocks are produced by ourselves from locally-sourced beeswax, most of it from our own hives.
